Maid-san wa Taberu Dake: TV Anime Announced for 2026

Announced on August 24, 2025, The Food Diary of Miss Maid (Maid-san wa Taberu Dake) manga by Susumu Maeya will receive a TV anime adaptation, set to premiere in 2026. The cast features Kana Ichinose as the English-style maid protagonist, Suzume Tachibana.

Happinet confirmed the anime with new key visuals and character artwork. Direction comes from Ryousuke Senbo, series scripts by Natsuko Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto, animation from EMT Squared × Magic Bus, and music by Katsutoshi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE).

Story Overview

Suzume Tachibana, a maid-in-training from England, embarks on a mission in Japan with one simple goal: to eat! The series follows her as she samples iconic Japanese foods — from sweets like taiyaki and melon bread to savory snacks like takoyaki and onigiri.
